Q: I can’t seem to adjust the volume on a MacBook via the clip, does the product support this?

Please follow these steps: 1. go to "System Preferences > Sound > Output" and check your sound settings. Make sure that your settings are correct. 2. Check your sound. You can select a device you want to use in the list of output devices if you have multiple devices. These devices can be earphones, internal speakers or external speakers. Please select the output device(BR1001) you want to use. You could use the device you selected for volume adjustment.

I think it depends on what you want it to do. If its to play something out of your tv speakers, then yes. If its to use with bluetooth headphone, then no :(
