I'm confused. is this the xl version? if the measurements are correct from another buyer, this one is larger than the xl, which is backwards, no?

This is not the XL edition, XL is 11.4 inches long and a higher price point. This one is just short of 10" though, hope that helps

Amazon should let you return it, since it's not the item you bought, or exchange it for the correct item. Contact Amazon as soon as you can and they should make it right. Right being, return it and get credit on future order or exchange. you will have to return the unwanted item.
