In August of 1969 my sons were ages 3 and 4, and my best friend's son and daughter ware also 3 and 4. She and I decided that Woodstock sounded like it would be super fun so we filled the VW Bus I owned at the time with food, changes of clothes, and 4 kids, and drove from San Francisco to Bethel New York. While the drives there and back were a whole lot of fun, I shall never forget the 3 days between. Unfortunately, al the photographs we'd taken were stolen back in the 80s. Purchasing the two little remembrances from the music festival held August 15-18, 1969 that I fell across while shopping on Amazon will give us a bit of a nostalgia-trigger when we see them. It was the first and, without question, the very best of its' kind. Max Yasgur (the owner of the farm we invaded) thank you so very much. Sorry for the mess, but love you forever for your contribution to the memories.
