Great tasting recipes!
This was helpful with the nutritional information for those suffering with endometriosis. I like that there is a section you can report your symptoms and help you keep track of the flare ups. The recipes are easy to follow and most are pretty tasty! You can always tweak to your liking. It was an easy read which was also great!

So easy to use
Full disclosure: I haven’t stuck to this diet as strictly as one probably could. Also, it will be a little pricey to purchase this food if you are very strict on the diet. That said, I love this book. It explains endo with details many health professionals don’t know (they just aren’t taught this in school). And it goes about healing the body through good food. Some of the recipes I will probably skip or substitute just because I’m not a fan of those flavors. But so far things have combined in a very tasty way! It is also so easy to use. Each week comes with a meal plan, a shopping list (that sometimes plans ahead for the next week), and instructions on meal prepping one day and cooking the others. First week is just breakfast, and it slowly transforms into all meals all days. Very doable.Amazing price for a great book.

Really helpful start overall
TLDR: great place to start for beginners. Not perfect but felt positive effects (more energy, less bloating) pretty quickly.I wanted to write a review on this plan because the reviews I read prior to buying were so mixed, it was hard to know what to expect.Pros:-many of the recipes are surprisingly delicious and I noticed a boost in my overall energy after the 1st week.-I also appreciate how it eases you into batch cooking by starting with a breakfast only week (other 2 meals are of your own choosing), then breakfast and lunch, then finally all 3 meals. I timed it to do all 4 weeks before my next cycle so it'll be interesting to see if I can feel any difference.-a lot of the suggestions about certain foods (e.g. soy grains) were familiar, but this takes all of the guesswork and mental energy out of figuring out what you CAN eat instead of being a walking encyclopedia of what you can't eat.Cons:- meal prep can be time consuming. I will say that many of the recipes have "make it fast" shortcuts, but it still takes time. It's important to sit with the shopping list, read the recipes and see where personal alterations are needed (e.g. I'm not making my own bone broth lol that's where I draw the line. Had I not looked at the weekly recipes instead of just going out and buying everything on the shopping list, I'd have pounds of beef knuckles instead of knowing to buy a high quality broth instead).- some of the shopping lists have errors...leaves you with extra ingredients that you have to figure out how to use, but I'd say they're minimal- I wish there were more substitutes for some of the heavier meats. In at least one recipe I replaced the pork with chicken and cooked it in a bone broth to try and mimic some of the collagen rich benefits the original recipe was aiming for without having to eat pork.

Awesome book!
I found so much info in this book that changed my life! While I didnt like all the recipes, I found it to be a spring board to better health and also a reference to help my kiddos and some of their health issues with too much inflammation. Check out her website for more info. Endo is such a under talked about disease that has many side effects that I had no clue were related... extreme allergies, ect. This book is worth it. I struggled to lose weight for years. Cutting down on the inflammation in my body has helped me to lose weight.

Delicous recipes for endometriosis
Book is filled with unexpected, delicious recipes! There are things I would've never thought to put together flavor wise. This book has made me fall in love with cooking again! I'm on the third week of the diet, and I can tell when I stick to the recipes in the book, my body is less bloated from the endo and I have more energy. Though the book gives you more flexibility in the first two weeks, I recommend cutting out processed carbs if you can and eliminating as much dairy as you can, especially if you're suffering from a sensitive stomach because of the endometriosis, like myself.Highly recommend this book and her other book Heal Endo that helps understand endometriosis a bit more. She's incredible at explaining the ins and outs of everything!

Loved the book, not recipes
I liked reading the context of the book. Love what the author had to say, but I did not like any of the recipes I made. I really wanted to like them, but I couldn’t stomach some of the recipes. I tried making about 4-5 items. I’m not a picky eater at all. I loved that she had tips and replacement options for the recipes! Super helpful. I’m not giving up on it. Will try out the other recipes that I didn’t make the first time around.

This is an amazing cookbook and introduction to understanding Endo
This book is very well written and thought out by a fellow nutritional therapy practitioner. It truly is a great guide for someone who is new to understanding Endometriosis and everything leading up to it. Katie has done a wonderful job for this book to educate others, including doctors who really aren't in the know when it comes from the nutrition side of understanding the disease and diagnosis. Kudos to Katie for this amazing cookbook and book. A MUST BUY!
