Yes, it will, but it depends on how it's used. That odor is sticky and penetrates porous surfaces, so you might have to wash them first and then use it. I have used on some nylon gear where I had to soak the surface TWICE but it did finally break down the odor. Better to use it full strength if possible, and let it air-dry on the surface. You can use it mixed 30:1 as an air freshener but remember that cigarette smoke leaves a film on things, and that's what stinks so ultimately that has to be removed or neutralized.

I may have missed this, but how well does this work for dog urine in carpet? Especially in comparison to leading product Natures Miracle?

I bought this stuff today. My dog has been peeing on my carpet for months. We’re working on it. But she has one spot specifically she pees on. I sprayed my entire carpet, let it sit for about 30 minutes, blotted and let it dry fully. Not only does my carpet feel softer, but the smell is 90% gone. There’s a few spots that still stink, and I just put more on. But holy cow this stuff is amazing! I’ve used regular enzyme cleaners, and everything walmart sells to get rid of the smell. But one dose of odoban killed it instantly!
