Works great for what I paid for it!
The sound quality of this is pretty good, especially considering it's placed right next to an air purifier, I can still hear my daughter when she wakes up!

Poor sound quality
This monitor gets the job done, but the sound quality isn't good--lots of static. The buttons are also sort of cheap so I find myself toggling them to get it to turn on.

makes funky noises, and don't work properly. a monitor should not get feed back or static like this does. not a good choice.

I would not purchase again
I purchased this unit because I wanted to avoid WiFi use and wanted to keep it simple. I sleep with co stand static next to me and can not make it stop. I often have a hard time hearing my baby cry over the static. The batteries also die fast so I always have to plug it in which is a added hassle.

Great Product for the Price
Definitely a great product for the small price. Thought it was going to be cheaply made, but its not that bad and it works perfectly.

I'm interested in mitigating the EMF risk of monitors
I do like this product, but ultimately I'm not sure how low EMF it is. We have ended up using a Hartig + Helling MBF 8181 which I believe to be lower EMF as it is only activated when there is sound. However it's hard for a non-expert to understand so I'm open to hearing more info about it. Thanks.

would be perfect if they were rechargable
This baby monitor works very well. We purchased this monitor because we spend a lot of time outside so when baby is napping we want to make sure we know when he wakes up. we haven't had any problems with these monitors they reach a far distance with no static at all. the one thing that kept them from getting a 5 star rating is that they were not rechargeable and they kind of kill batteries fast. I would recommend these to any parent as long as they have spare batteries or a good extension cord.
