NO wheels, armless and wide
Review for DUMOS Criss Cross Chair Legged Office Wide Comfy Desk Seat, No Wheels Armless. Ordered for a 90 yo, after her son approved the selection. Upon arrival, he said, "She's not going to like that." For her, we need a chair with arms. Now, why didn't I think of that? Looked at the box for almost an hour, undecided. Finally decided that if it won't work for her, I'd use it. Several years ago, I was searching for exactly this kind of chair. Always sitting cross legged on my then oversize chair that sadly fell apart from constant use. Such a sad sayonara. So, I decided to keep this one, and took it all out of the box. Set-up was a breeze. All parts included, directions clear, the best allen wrench I've ever used (and that I'm saving!), holes line up, and while it was a little tricky getting the back attached to the seat, once I tighted the mechanism to the seat, that became much easier. It went fast, but I enjoy doing this, and had it done in 30 minutes, even stopping to get a cup of coffee in the process. There are even a couple of extra screws sent, maybe in case the assigned screws had a dud? I didn't need them, but keeping them, as well. I'm sitting in this great looking chair as I type this, and I am very comfortable. Without wheels, I prefer to "set it and forget it," and in it's current placement, I am about a foot away from my keyboard, which is a laptop. The seat is hard enough and perfect for being able to keep my back straight, but feels cushy enough on my derriere. 10/10. I placed it so it can swivel 180 degrees without hitting anything. I have almost half a foot of space left to bring my laptop closer, if needed. IF this chair had wheels, and more maneuverability, I could tuck in closer, so I may look into something to adapt the feet. I do wish the back were closer, and easier to adjust straight up and down, instead of at an angle. The way I sit, I have to make a point to sit back and lean on the back to even use it. I could take the back off, and it wouldn't ruin the aesthetics of the chair, it would just make it more a stool. Sooo, I could have bought a stool. Yeah. Looks like I'll be shopping for another chair for Granny, and maybe some pillows.Overall, I'm very pleased with this chair, even though I wouldn't recommend it for someone in their 90's. P.S. She did sit in it, and said it was "too big." I'm not what I consider a "wide load," but face it, my size 8 days are long in the past. This chair absolutely works for me, and yes, it's certainly on the wide side. Retired female / 5'4" / 180'ish for stats.

Good comfort at a great value
This chair is an excellent option for those seeking affordable comfort in their homes.Easy to assemble and pre-packaged with all necessary materials to do so, a layman to handiness needn’t worry about owning tools in advance before making this purchase. The chair is low to the ground, giving it an edge when shopping for compact seating options; it’s the perfect fit for small working spaces, desks tucked away into snug crannies and offices with low ceilings. Thankfully, its size does not come at the expense of stability; it can be used in most conditions without fear of incurring damage. Finally, the chair is admittedly easy on the eyes, coming in a plethora of visually pleasing colors and in a fashionable shape. So far, this chair has shaped up to be the perfect addition to my home and to my lifestyle. If you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable stationary chair that’ll complement a modern living space, this item may be the right choice for you.

For the person who contorts themselves onto chairs--Welcome
I received the first one, put it together...and ordered the second immediately. So in love with these chairs.First and foremost, I'm a folded sitter, by which I fold my legs up onto the seat with me, and basically pretzel myself to get comfy. With this in mind, arms on desk chairs annoy me to death, and eventually leave me with horrible dents in my legs from where they've pressed in when I contort myself in the chair. This beauty, though, is everything a desk chair should be.I got them both in blue, which reads as a sort of faded, well loved pair of jeans. The seat is very wide, and perfect to fold myself in so many positions. Huge bonus: it's also deep enough to sit Lotus for some much needed chair yoga. It's covered in a woven sort of fabric, which is okay, but from a tactile point of view, not very pleasing. I mean, it's not scratchy or anything, but just not...comfy, I guess would be the word. I draped velour coverings over them, which can be tucked into the joint where the seat and back meet, and it works beautifully. For assembly, it was easy to manage on my own, and the inclusion of a long handled hex key was a huge five star bonus from the manufacturer that I was immediately grateful for. In terms of adjustment, it has a short to tall lever, and after months of use by people from 200 to 360 lbs, there's been no sign of breakdown on the pneumatics. For chairs that are used daily, both in home office at a desk, and in the den as a comfy chair to read in or watch tv, they're wonderfully sturdy. They don't weigh a lot, and can be moved easily, provided you pay attention to the swivel. Yeah, these beauties both swivel--and it's a smooth glide--and lean back. I've have sat sideways to read and used one as a comfy rocking chair many, many times. The price was so much better than I would have expected for a chair that's become my favourite with a quickness, and I would very happily come back for more if I ever need them.

Pretty good, a little hard
Pretty good, decently comfortable, easy to put together, feels fairly stable/not tippy, good price. I chose the beige one despite having cats, and put a cover on it right away to prevent scratching & stains, hence the pattern not matching the ad photos. The chair looks like the ad (and much nicer!) without a cover, but the cover looks better than stains. Trade-offs, ya know? My issue is just that the seat is pretty firm for me. Not a huge deal as there are coccyx- & lumbar-support pads available out there separately.Updating my review after realizing I missed something: in order to activate the tilt function, you have to pull the height adjustment stick outward. Keep in mind it tilts the whole seat, not just the back, and for it to tilt easily, your butt has to be far back in the chair — if it’s too far forward, the center of gravity is off and it’ll be very difficult to tilt.
