Should you wait a bit after cleaning? Is there a "drying" time?

If you’re using the fluid then yes, I like to let it dry for a bit for sure!! I like to stick it on the dish drying rack, sound silly but it works!

Does it remove scratches?

No, it does not remove scratches. I don't know of any product that will remove scratches. This product and all the others, helps clean out the imbedded impurities found within the grooves of a record and built-up residue on the stylus. It will make records sound better (reducing pops and clicks) and help keep the stylus from premature wear and damage.

Is the velvet brush also an anti-static brush? If I clean the record with a dry velvet brush, will it clean and remove the static as well?

A brush needs to be electrically conducive to reduce static, and due to the insulating wooden handle of our velvet record cleaning brush, no, it's not anti-static. If you're careful with how much pressure you apply, excess static shouldn't be generated when cleaning with our velvet brush. If you're having static issues, we recommend a high-quality, electrically conductive carbon fiber brush (we sell our one separately).
