When you take the fan off the battery pack to use it to charge a phone does the fan still work?

On my fan there is a port to charge Android phones on the handle so you can charge an Android phone whilst the fan is operating. If you have an I phone then you have to disconnect the battery from the fan to charge your iPhone so the fan doesn’t have a connected power source.

On high speed yes, wouldn’t use it in public, but the power is amazing. The charge lasts for ages and you can charge your phone with it.
