I don't tan, at all, not even a bit.I go red, get MANY freckles, and suffer heat rashes in the sun... My legs don't see much daylight and they're transparent, with a blue tinge.This gentle build-up self tanner from Ireland is just right for me (without over-generalising there's plenty of naturally pale Celtic skin over there too, so they're the people to trust with this!)I would look daft with the sort of heavy tan my lovely niece gets away with, I just want to take the blue tinge off! I applied a little as a test patch and the area didn't looked like I'd used a tanner, it just looked like a normal, warmer skin tone. Hurrah!It's a nice consistency (photo shows some product squeezed onto the lid, so you can see it's a light cream), and it has a pleasant, light fragrance. I was able to apply it thinly to test it's lightest result but I'll be able to be less sparing with it now I know it's a good colour on me.I think if you had a darker base tone you'd be building on that for more of a tanned look, but I'm pleased that I don't have to jump right to brown - it wouldn't work for me. You could build it up daily, but I would probably use it around twice a week to keep it a light, natural colour.I didn't notice any nasty smell as it worked (not like the old days where you'd wake up smelling like a chemical loo!). In fact it has nice ingredients which are hydrating too, so it's a pleasure to use. I remembered to scrub my hands after applying and didn't wake up with orange palms. Now I know I can use this regularly I'll invest in a tanning mitt.Very pleased with this product, and I'll confidently go about adding a regular 'tan' to my routine now!

The first thing I noticed is that it has a very subtle scent, unlike other tanning creams on the market.It glides on the skin like a regular moisturiser. However, applying it evenly is harder to achieve as you can’t easily ascertain the spots that you’ve missed until the tan colour has developed.I like that the tanning effect is very subtle and buildable, you don’t suddenly wake up 5 shades darker.I would definitely recommend applying it with a tanning mitt to avoid staining.Overall, I like this tanning cream although getting an even application will take some practice.Rating: 3.5 Stars

This product has a very nice smell and is easy to apply and rub into the skin. its impact is subtle though noticeable after a few hours. I have used tanning products before but was unfamiliar with tanning moisturiser so was searching for a while anout whether i had to remove the product before realising that as a moisturiser I should actually leave on the skin. The moisturiser itself is actually really nice on the skin. After a few hours i did notice a difference in skin colour (I took pictures before and after to see it) though it was subtle. I think it will take a while to get the effect I want but i really like the idea of it being gradual both so I can control the shade and also that the effect looks as though it has occured naturally over a period rather than suddenly appearing to have tanned overnight. There is a lot in the container and I would expect this will last a long time. This seems well priced and uit is a good prodduct. I also really appreciate the addition of fruits extracts such as mango, papaya and goji berry

To start with,I would like to say that I am not a fan of using fake tan because loads of products give you an orange effect and not evenly in the skin.Thankfully ,the slow tanning version has been used n vented and you can actually control how the end result will be like.The most I like about this fake tan solution is that it gives you a more natural look ,natural tanning and is the tan is evenly on the whole body..The fact that it can be applied both on the skin face as well on the body is defo a plus as not only you save money from having to buy a separate product but also you eliminate the possibility of ending up with two different shades.Perfect for pre holiday time and not only!

I love buildable tanning lotions as I can choose the right amount of bronzing that best suits me. Easily to apply daily and dries fairly quickly. Leaves skin soft and hydrated all day which is a bonus. This tanning lotion leaves a lovely golden glow that’s looks natural.

It's late April so I am ready for the first self-tan of the season. Wanting to go carefully on my ultra-white winter skin, this one looked to be ideal - and it is!This lotion is a nice creamy consistency and goes on very easily and smoothly with a tanning mitt. It takes a while for any effect to show. I am very pleased with outcome - a subtle golden glow and streak-free.I will now build up to a stronger colour, and will even use it on my face thanks to its gentle tanning effect. This is a good-sized tube and will last throughout the early weeks of summer. Very nice.

I'm a big fan of using fake tan so was excited to try out this gradual tanning moisturiser.I made sure that I applied the moisturiser with a tanning mitt on so that the product didn't stain my hands, you could always wear gloves or just make sure you wash your hands after. The product was easy to apply and smelt nice. It soaked into my skin nicely and felt really hydrating. I left the product to full dry before getting dressed.This gives a nice gentle skin kissed look and doesn't leave you looking super brown or orange. There was no streaks or patches and it gave a nice even natural result.

I purchased this. It arrived wrapped in a clear wrap. I noticed right away it was sloshing around in the tube. The stuff is absolutely liquified. Like white water. Smells horrible too. Returned as defective.
