It should work if you don’t put the handles in. It will still be comfortable & give elevation & secure feeling

Will this product help me get up and down from the toilet without putting any weight on my right foot? I am unable to balance on my left foot.

I believe it will. I have injured my right hip twice and the only way I can get it on and off the potty is by the side handles. So I believe that you shouldn't have any issues. Extremely well made. Pricy but so much better than the cheaper flimsy models.

The handles are an added bonus enabling one to push oneself off the throne when there is nothing close by to grab. Suitable especially for a bulkier person.
