HG Stain Remover Extra Strong, Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner with Oxygen – 500ml

Used on a mid beige carpet which is pretty old but not worn out consequently some stain origins lost in the mists of time. This has lifted stains other carpet cleaners haven't so I can vouch for efficacy. Some have had to have several applications to remove completely including one I thought was black oil! The carpet is now ready for a full shampoo with a carpet cleaner. H G products are generally very effective and whilst they may seem pricey, worth every penny when they do the job! Test for colour fastness first as this has oxy action and I’d advise wearing rubber gloves as it’s a bit tough on skin. Has a slight smell but goes over 24 hours or so.

Excellent product. Removes stains quickly and easily. I highly recommend this brand and wouldn’t be without it now.

After trying several different products and methods to remove stains from my sofa with no luck, I tried this product as a last resort.So glad I did as it completely removed the dried in stains with no residue/water marks left behind. Easy to use and has no lingering smell after. Good size bottle which should last a while. Does not add any protection but itvreally works well.

A very good cleaner. Very effective, there were large marks on the carpet, from having a multi-gym, which was being used. With one use, very effective. I'll give it a another clean.I just updated but, I do not think that it has worked. I have just gave the carpet another wee spray and left it for a while. I keep my flat very tidy but, every time I rinsed the sponge, the cleaner was still doing a lot. I could not fault the cleaning spray, very effective. The carpet now looks spotless.Really pleased with the product. There was problems with the delivery. The company that I bought the product from, have been brilliant, very, kind and helpful.Really good product and very kind and helpful people.

I ordered thus as I’d had a mishap in my bedroom - my blind dog tripped me up as I walked into the room and my cup of hot chocolate flew out of my hand. It splashed so far that the majority went on wardrobe mirrors, even the ceiling. There was a wet latch on the carpet right in front of the wardrobe. It washed easily off ceiling wall and mirrors, but the stain on the carpet refuses to budge. I’ve only cleaned it once so far - but it looks as if I’ve done nothing.. I’ll give it another go, but the product hasn’t lived up to, its promise so far. NB.Since I wrote the above m I’ve tried three more times and the stain did not come out. Bought a Dr Beckmann and it’s gone! Enough saud,

Why did you choose this product over others?:Just read the reviews I wanted something for my car. Upholstery because I smoke there.The roof of my car was absolutely cigarette stained. Honestly, it came off within minutes just wiped off. Absolutely amazing. I thought I’m gonna waste money on this. I’ve tried everything else, but I will never buy anything else. Other than this absolute stain remover. Highly recommend done the job and it didn’t knacker me out. I just wished I took pictures before and after so I could show you the effect.

Successfully and safely removed a dried in coffee stains from my wool and polypropylene blend carpet when nothing else would. So so impressed and incredibly relieved to have the stain gone!
