This is a high quality product that with care will last a lifetime.

It is easily scuffed but is a good quality leather of uniform thickness. It contains 3 booklets each with 15 paper sheets of 120gsm approx., and measure 360mm x 273mm (fourteen and a quarter by ten and three quarter inches), stitched down the centre and folded. The booklets are held to the leather with elasticated cord and can be easily be slipped out or replaced. It comes with an extra cord.

Went for the large to use as a scrapbook, couldn't be happier.

Leather at a reasonable price, should stand up to frequent use.

I bought 2 journals - the large almost A4 and the almost A5. Such lovely rustic thick leather and nice quality paper notebooks. Neither are standard sizes. Love the fact that these will last for years because the inserts are replaceable. Also the choice of inserts available separately: plain, dotted, lined etc. I’ve already bought lined and dotted books to swap in as the journals came with plain paper and I wanted one of each type inside. I am really impressed with Wanderings - the large journal had one notebook with every corner damaged and it was for a special present so when I got a nice follow up email asking me if I was happy I thought I’d mention this. Scott replied very quickly sending a whole new replacement which arrived 2 days later. Absolutely fantastic customer service and a wonderful product. Don’t hesitate- buy one.... or several!

I recently purchased the Large Leather Refillable Journal and the Pocket Leather Passport Size Journal from the Wanderings Notebooks selection, (Black Mountain Company). They "scuff" for that more individual appearance, which, wipes away easily should you prefer. I prefer the "worn in look" so they are ideal for me.
