You have to get key programmed

Do not buy this. The fob for unlocking and locking your vehicle works. But the key doesn’t work, it doesn’t have the antitheft chip in it so it will not let you start your vehicle

Worked for my 08 F150. Didn't try programming the key, only the remote because I was tired of buying the cheap ones that snapped off my key chain.

I recently received my key fob and tried to program it. It didn’t work. They sent it to me with dead batteries in the key fob. I had to buy new batteries then it started to work. I should not have to buy batteries because it should have came with new batteries that work properly.

Loved the color and that it has a key with it. Very nice looking and easily programmed. Used to replace 2nd remote that was not functioning. Value for your money.

Key fit in my 09 Ford F-150, and the fob portion worked as well (with limited range) tried for 40 min to get my Xtool to program but got programming failed, took to a locksmith and he said the keys had dummy transponders. Really disappointed in this outcome because this product had good potential. I guess that’s what I get for having high expectations. Product returned. Good luck.
