What is the difference between this one and Orecks commercial one?

One thing worth mentioning is that this one is made in the USA whereas the commercial models are made in China.

What are the differences between this and the hoover cordless hepa upright besides pricing? they look identical.

I am not familiar with the Hoover. This is NOT a cordless vacuum. This is very lightweight, easy to handle, easy to repair. They last forever if you take care of it.

Why does my new vacuum leave track like marks in my carpet? My old one didn’t do that

As someone who collects vacuums, I love my new Oreck. It's powerful and super easy to use. Depending on the kind of carpet you have, the suction of this machine will most likely leave tracks where it has been used. I, personally, love seeing the tracks of freshly vacuumed carpet.
