I don't write many reviews, but I often read what others are saying - which can influence my decision to purchase or not. In spite of the numerous bad reviews of these towels, I bought them anyway - and I'm glad I did. These salon size quality towels are great - soft, thick and thirsty. They actually are black, NOT BLUE as some have stated here. They wash and dry great, but as with all new dark-colored towels, they have to be washed first in cold water before using, and will shed a little fuzz after the first couple of washings. So far, no complaints at all! The only thing I have not tested yet is whether they are actually bleach-resistant. I've used a lot of salon towels over the years in my hairstyling career, and I would definitely recommend these 100%!

For all you wonderful Amazon reviewers, THANK YOU. I had bought some other towels that were microfiber sweat towels for the gym which were useless in every regard. I should have returned them but I hate returning things.So, what was so great about these towels?They are soft cotton towels that meet or exceed my expectations in being the perfect size of 16" x 27". Not too small that I can't drape over my shoulder, and not too large that make them cumbersome.They have amazing absorbance, which I find perfect. If salon owners love them, that's good enough for me.They're not too thick, like those found in bathrooms. I wanted something lightweight that did the job.They are extremely well made. There are countless reviews as to their ability to stand up to years of use and washings.So all in all, perfect size, great absorbance, soft cotton, not too thick, and all this for a really good price. Verdict, perfect.Thank you again all you reviewers who so overwhelmingly vouched for these towels, it was on your amazing reviews that convinced my to buy them and I'm so glad I did. These are thick enough they hold heat longer, but not too absorbent that they hold too much water. They look expensive, and feel soft. And they haven’t aged at all during my use and washes.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased salon towels for my beauty salon. After unboxing them, I noticed that they were long, soft to the touch, and free of any odors. They are highly absorbent, and the threads are intact. I'll test how they hold up with hair color, bleach, and after washing. Then, I'll let you know if they are a good value for the approximately $38 I spent. I’ll keep you posted!

They are above average quality BUT they leave little balls of fuzz all over my clients!After I washed them 7 to 10 times they stopped doing this. They were not absorbent until this many washes either.Now I would buy these towels again, but 2 weeks ago I was ready to throw them all away! 😂So make sure you wash them several times before you use them.

I was cautiously optimistic going in, because there are a couple reviews (at least one w photos) saying that the towels are not, in fact, bleach proof.As a hair colorist who specializes in blonding, I obviously use a lot of lightener (aka BLEACH), and need black towels for when I'm doing dark color/ nevermind that they look great!!So anyway I came here to say that I have had zero issues w them bleaching even a little!!! And I am not in any way careful not to get lightener on them - in fact, I use them to wipe the lightener out of the hair sometimes, and then they sit before they get washed.Good thickness, good absorbency, good size!Great towels

As a hairstylist with 24 years experience, these have become my go to towels.This is the second time I have purchased these towels. The first time was 2.5 years ago. I keep enough towels in my salon so that I only have to wash them once a week. That means they have been washed appropriately 125 times since I bought them. Based on that I would say they have held up remarkably well.Yes, they have faded quite a bit, but I honestly couldn't tell how bad it was until I compared them to the new ones. There has also been some shrinkage in comparison to the new ones, but again, I wouldn't have noticed until I layed an old one on top of a new one like I did in the pics. The only thing different from my last batch is the design on the tag. Even the hems and boarders are exactly the same.These have a medium to thin thickness, which I prefer for it's versatility. They are not super soft or plush, but are absorbent enough for pulling water out of hair. I have found this to be standard for bleach resistant towels.
