Very Good Every Day Watch with Early 2000's Charm - But Not Rugged
This is a great looking and functioning watch from Casio. A world time function, plus a timer and memo capability make this a helpful wrist friend. The blue dial, along with the font for the numbers, really help this watch look and feel like like something from the early 2000's, when music videos were over saturated and we all carried Motorola Razr's and LG Chocolate's. It's a fun, functional piece of nostalgia that works and frankly, will outlast an Apple Watch in it's functions as a watch. Some things to know, though. The body is plastic, the bracelet is stainless steel. This means the watch is light weight and pleasant to wear, but it is in no way a G-Shock. It doesn't offer the same rugged reliability and water resistance, so do not buy this watch and expect that you can go diving or hiking and bash this thing around and have it survive. It might, for a while, but it'll look abused quickly. The "crystal" is also plastic. It will scratch and scuff quickly if you're careless. So if keeping something looking new is a priority for you, this little watch will take some extra care to do so.The four pushers feel positive and not cheap. It's interesting to me how Casio can make so many watches out of plastic materials and still feel better made than some several hundred dollar fashion watches. There is a backlight, and it works. Two amber LED's offer illumination from the three and nine positions. It does not, however, illuminate the digital display. In a way I wish Casio would update this watch and give it better backlighting like they did with other models, and in other ways I want them to leave it be. A piece of that early 2000's charm, as it were. The bracelet is easy to adjust with proper tools (or improper. A well made #5 mechanical pencil, tweezers, and pliers can do the job). A solid fit can be achieved in a matter of minutes.Who is this watch good for?Folks who need an every day watch that doesn't break the bank, has quartz accuracy and reliability, and need either multiple timers or a world time feature. College kids, young professionals, people with lives and jobs that don't take too much toll on their stuff. People who like to have a few affordable watches they can change out with outfits.Who is this watch NOT for?Military personnel, people with rugged jobs. Runners (the bracelet CAN pull hair occasionally), cyclists, hikers, lumberjacks. People who need a timepiece to survive the worst, you should look elsewhere. This watch won't survive your lifestyle.

Good except forthright LED light
Nice watch. Very light and comfortable. I like the digital display at the bottom for the date (among other things). I can actually read it as opposed to sqintinting at the little window on other watches. Also I don’t have to reset it after a 30-day month. My only caveat is that the led light isn’t very effective. I was expecting a nice light like a Timex Indiglo.

Good watch with lots of functions
Decades ago I had to pay twice as much for a do nothing basic entry level analog watch. This one does a lot more and looks better. I like the stainless steel wrist band, because it is a lot more comfortable than the plastic ones. It is well worth paying slightly more for a watch with a stainless steel band. This watch gives me an alarm clock, a count down timer, and a stop watch. I almost brought a kitchen count down timer and an alarm clock, but now I don't need either of them. Saves me a lot of money and desk space. It does require me to read the owner's manual to take advantage of all these functions, but the manual is reasonably well written, unlike some of the manuals that come with computer peripherals. I was able to adjust the length of the wrist band by watching a YouTube video that shows me how. Is this watch perfect? Not at all. I would prefer a thinner one but it would be difficult to find one that has as many functions and is thinner for the same price I paid for this one. Another wish is for a watch face that is as scratch resistant as glass. I figure I can simply get a new one if the watch face is all scratched up if the price continues to stay so low.

Excelent buy for the money.
I didn't realize it didn't have a second hand but oh well for the price it is excellent. Despite other reviewers saying it is plastic, it is not. The case is stainless steel. The telememo function is useless (seriously scroll through the whole alphabet to get a letter? How 1990.), use your smartphone for memos. Like the $250 trek watch I had, the backlight really isn't enough light to read at night. I purchased this model because no one would replace the batteries on my Casio Trek anymore. A sticker on the box says the batteries are non-replaceable, but they are available on Amazon, go figure. Even if non-replaceable, replacing this watch once every 10 years is cheaper than every 2 years on my Trek (for a total of $160 over ten years) Oh, by the way, if you have owned a Casio watch before you almost don't need the manual.
