Cyberlink PowerDirector 19 Ultra & PhotoDirector 12 Ultra [Video & Photo Editing]

I am rather new to video processing and am a Lightroom/Photoshop subscriber. I bought this to make slideshows and do a bit of vid work. I looked at all the freeware, but found none that had customizable motion, transitions, wide range of import and export formats, title editor, audio editor, and more. PowerDirector does everything I wanted and some things I didn't know I needed. I've created and edited and am happy.I had little expectations for PhotoDirector, but tried it out of curiosity. I'm blown away! I think everything is there from Lightroom and I've now processed 50+ photos. I hate subscription software, but put up with it to use lightroom.. um, that'll end as soon as my paid year (more than this software and I don't own it!) is complete.

I scan a lot of old 8mm home movies. Once scanned, I use Power Director to stabilize, crop, and adjust the color and speed. I am very happy with the results. There is a learning curve, but it is not bad at all.

I bought this thing and loved it so much. It was like the gates of heaven for video editing. It was an epic resource I always used Youtube videos and epic editing. Truly this program should be recognized. Alas, there was an error in my key-code saying that I already used it. I really depended on this software, but it went capoot. Oh well. if I told my mom, she would be so mad. So I just use other editing software, where its free and no watermark.

I strongly encourage you to not buy this product. I purchased this software for basic editing for videocasts. While functionally the system works and has great features, you are wasting money due to the major in-software upgrades needed. No where does it tell you the limitations of this product. So you are spending a $100.00 or more to have limited transitions, effects, and producing capabilities. The number one unforgivable thing that brought this review was that on the completed video, there is a nonremovable watermark on produced video that says "edited by Cyberlink Powerdirector." This is a sham. Everything is pushed towards a Cyberlink PD 365 subscription. I would have been better off getting the superscription. But, because of this shoddy marketing they have forever lost my business and I will make sure everyone I meet realizes this scam. Needless to say, I am livid. I upgraded from 18 and appreciate the new features.In still very much a novice but my travel videos no longer bore my friends and families. A few really good YouTuber's do a great job explaining the vastness of this program.Have barely broken into the Photo part, but seems tight....photoshop ish.Works well, quick and ever expanding my knowledge of making great video.

I bought the Power Director Suite 2 several years ago and used it up to windows 10. It is the best software out there. It is the easiest to use and I have tried the others. You can do almost anything with it. You won't be disappointed with it. Watch one tutorial on youtube and you will be up and running.

Love the product it's very easy to use.
