Hi Chris, on its own no, its not a standalone access point, designed for point to point connections and when coupled with access points can connect distant locations and create a wifi network. You are probably best looking for a wifi repeater that is oudoor rated assuming your outdoor location is not too far away from your current wifi router. Hope this helps
