Will it be complex to install？

There’s no room for error. I have experience putting tempered glass protectors on my iPhones and ipad, but this one has a texture that makes it much more difficult than a tempered glass protector. So I would say unless you are a little lucky when installing it, very few air bubbles, nail the placement first time through, then you’ll probably end up throwing it in the trash as I just had to.

Does it protect the screen well from cracks or shattering?

It is a screen protector also so it does protect it as well. I also have a case with a cover that protects the iPad pretty well also because I’m not too sure how much the screen protector can protect from an accidental drop.
