Tom Ford Replacement - So Worth It
After investigating several options, I went with this as a replacement for my Tom Ford for Men cologne. Very similar at a very reasonable discount price. Lasting silage and easy to like. Thank you Davidoff.

Not the worst, definitely far from the best
I was hoping this would have more of a natural smell. Just about every perfume uses the same language to describe the smell. Woody, spicy…. Clearly those words can mean a wide variety of things.I was hoping this would have the kind of natural smell I get from Kheils original musk. Everything about that actually does smell like a naturally occurring earthy smell. But this mostly has the typical traditional smell that is always overpowering when I have to walk through a Macy’s or Bloomingdale’s perfume department to get to the mall. There are trace amounts of scents I like but by far The overall scent I have is that man-made almost chemical like smell which I guess is supposed to be the conduit for all of the pleasant smells? I don’t know, but it definitely is the main smell by far which I don’t really like. At least this doesn’t have as strong of a man-made chemical smell as some other colognes I’ve tried at either Macy’s or Sephora. That chemical smell starts to fade away over the course of the day leaving the smell that I prefer. But I’m not really sure having to wait it out and being left with not as much good smell as I’d like makes it worth it.Weirdly, though I purchased as a joke, I actually adore the smell that comes from the marvel Captain America branded cologne aerosol can spray. That is what I would define as an actually naturally sweet-ish and manly scent that is again, NATURAL smelling. If I had never smelled it before I would still think it must come from some part of the earth I just haven’t been to yet.Another thing I really like is the original smell of curve. That does have tracing amount of typical man-made chemically alcohol smell. But it’s very, very subtle. Extremely subtle. And it goes away within minutes and leaves adjust potent enough pleasant smell that lasts the rest of the day easily. It is so hard to describe smells like this that have varieties and mixtures and use words that different people have different ideas on what they mean. So hopefully me talking about other colognes that I do like can help give reqders a little clear of an idea.

Good for the money
Long-lasting and smells good. Good value for the money. It's better than Hot Water and Zino Davidoff.

Not too bad, not all that great..
Have been looking for a citrus/woodsy cologne to replace my favorite, but now discontinued Tokyo by Kenzo, and Davidoff Adventure seemed to have many of the same notes (but with the addition of musk). Really enjoyed Davidoff Cool Water when I was younger, so figured for $20, Adventure was worth a try. At first spray, it does have a nice bright scent that quickly disappears, leaving only a mellow darker dry down of the woodsy/musk scent. Unfortunately, none of the fragrances really seem to compliment each other too well, and one of them I am severely allergic to (sinuses quickly get inflamed and eyes start watering, eventually followed by a dull headache). Overall, I really don't hate the scent, but I really don't like it all that well either. It smells rather cheap and synthetic in a way, and even the bottle itself is poorly constructed. After removing the cap, ugly translucent plastic is visible and even the metal cover on the upper portion of the bottle won't stay attached. I can see myself eventually picking up the bottle by the metal and having the entire glass bottle fall away, smashing to the floor. Mediocre cologne stinking up my house for months. This is absolutely the worst cologne/perfume presentation I've ever seen, and honestly, Davidoff should be ashamed to even have their name on such a poorly designed bottle (it really doesn't need to be fancy or elaborate, it just needs to work). Despite having many of the same/similar notes, Davidoff Adventure smells absolutely nothing like my beloved Tokyo by Kenzo, so I will continue my search..
