The can opener works great and is so much easier to operate than my manual. I have to push the button a second time to shut it off or it will keep turning, but I'll soon adjust to that.

Works as advertised, read the instructions first though so you know how to stop it lol.

The media could not be loaded. I’m downgrading this to a one star. You have to hold the button down until the can is half opened or it stops and goes backwards resetting the mechanism. When the can is opened the can opener will continue going around and around until the batteries run down. You have to push the button again in order to stop it. If I wanted a can opener that I had to push buttons during the entire precess I would just use my hand held manual opener. Very disappointed. If Amazon will allow a return I will certainly return it.Original Feedback: This opener replaced a similar can opener that stopped working after about 20 years. This opener is faster than my old one (requires 4 AA batteries where my old one was only 2). But my old one was completely automatic. This opener requires you to push the button once more in order to get it to stop. If you do not stop it, it will continue to run until the batteries run down.

I'm so happy with this can opener! I bought it so I can use it if the power goes out in an emergency. I have painful arthritis in my hands and am unable to use a regular hand held can opener. This one allows me to open cans without pain. What a relief! I love it.
