As solid as they get
Had it in my garden for 5 yrs without any issues.

Better than unbranded equivalents
This single version outdoor socket is way better than all of the random brandname chinese knockoffs that i've tried as with them you never know what you're getting. there are precut cutouts for your cable glands whereas the chinese ones sometimes are the kind that have to be drilled out with a holesaw. The rubber grommets and seals for the front plug and rear screw mounting holes fit snug whereas the chinese ones tend to fall right off. If i have one complaint it's that the tiny screw covers that hide the screw holes on the socket itself don't fit quite as snug. All round would buy again.EDIT: 19/05/2022. Just tried to buy another of these from a different seller and they sent me a knockoff. FYI, the original product comes in a BG electrical box with barcode and link to nexus industrials, the front cover is solid black and not translucent and the socket itself has an on/off indicator light.

Looks great and tidied up the garden setup.
Had an electrician install it but it appears sturdy and does its water protection job well.... I'll update in the future on how it holds up to the sun...

I had to replace my old/broken power socket, bought this one and the dual socket one, easy installation, wiring in the back is simple, no unnecessary wiring to the power button l, all integrated, location of the wiring screw is from top for easy installtion, excellent plastic quality
