Ride on Excavator
This excavator was a hit with my 2 year old grandson. He was so surprised and absolutely loves everything about it. Didn’t take long to put together. The hardest/most tedious part was adding the decals/stickers. The price was great and well worth every dollar.

Is it all just plastic? Mostly.Is it built to last forever and survive anything? Kind of, actually, yeahWe have one rough and tumble little dude that has beat this thing, left it in the ran and mud, run it into everything, and takes it apart and puts it back together, and ya know what? It still works.That’s five star worthy.

Light weight perfect for toddler
My 1 year old is 3 feet and this is perfect size for him to ride around on. The claw has a lever to go up and down. I don’t know if I would play with it outside in the dirt because it’s so lightweight but maybe to ride around on a concrete pad? We have LVP flooring in the house so my toddler can easily cruise around. He’s obsessed with tractors, trucks, anything that moves and this was the perfect edition. The horn also honks which is a plus.

The size of this tractor is easy for a toddler to get on and off easily
I like the size of the tractor. The size makes it easy for a toddler to get on and off easily without any assistance. Perfect for a birthday gift, Christmas present or just a special surprise. The tractor is easy to assemble and the tractor is easy for toddler to maneuver and operate by themselves. A great value for the price.

Bucket can't pick up anything.
Indoors with blocks etc, or outdoors trying to lift/carry potting soil, the kid can't scoop and lift because the geometry is wrong. Occasionally he gets something in the bucket but then lifting to carry it, the object falls out. More a frustration than a happy toy.(I should note I own a real backhoe and its controllable 'wrist' where the bucket attaches, is whats missing here that makes this toy useless).Also, kid flipped over backward when a weed he was pulling slipped out of the bucket's teeth. I'm not sure product design could prevent this because kids simply do unexpected things. No injury, after crying from the surprise.We haven't seen the flaws or damage other reviews noted. It still looks new after a few days of outdoor use.Summary: there must be something else that a kid would enjoy more.
