Is this too large to turn a 3/4" chrome shower arm?

My question/response is regard to an oil bronze coupler ($49!) between a 6” ORB nipple and 16” shower arm. To be clear, the plumbing pipe is 1/2” ID but the arms are typically 3/4” OD. For instance, when buying a flange for a shower arm you will typically buy a flange with a 3/4” hole. Hope this helps.
