Great for cleaning retainer, quiet and works well
We’re using it for nightly cleaning of retainers, and it works great. We’ve had one for a couple of years, still working well.Needed a second one, and tried a different brand that had a nicer look and half the price. It was loud and stopped working after two months. So bought another iSonic, and it’s so much better. Quiet, perfect size, not the prettiest, but just works. I specifically wanted one without the UV light, as I read it destroys the plastic of the retainer. This one is really the best.

Stopping working
Worked for 4 mths. Used daily. Dental appliance was clean and fresh following 10 mins in the container. And then the device stopped working. The water no longer produced “bubbles” and the device didn’t clean the appliance. I noticed the noise of the motor changed, wasn’t as loud. This is my 2nd attempt to find an ultrasonic cleaner that works as expected. Back to square 1.

Works great.
Using on Suresmile clear aligners. Keeps them nice and clean. I use it once a week and clean them by brush daily. It’s easy to unplug and fill with water and dump afterward. I’ve used additives as well and works even better / cleaning my son’s crusty retainer in 3 runs and looks great. It runs very quiet.

Works good but is not durable.
Device worked great until it quit today! 7 months old and stopped working. Did a great job but started making a different sound about a month ago then today it just quit

helps to clean my partial denture
It seems to help keep my partial denture clean. I do clean the denture with Dr. Bronner's baby soap and Dr. B's denture paste first, still I think this helps too. I do not use those tablets or anything like that as I think they are poison, just water and the 5 minute treatment (sometimes 2 treatments of 5 minutes). I recommend this unit with one criticism: it turns on too easily even when you are emptying it sometimes. You just have to handle it carefully. I have never used it for jewelry, and never will. My dental hygienist always thinks it is clean, so I figure this thing helps.

Outdated tech, but it gets the job done.
1. It doesn't come with the battery. You have to buy that separately. Listing is definitely not clear about that.2. Even with the battery this thing feels like something that you could have bought in 2005. It's incredibly clunky and out dated.That being said... It does work to clean aligners. But there has to be something better.
