Head & Shoulders Purely Gentle Scalp Care 2-In-1 Dandruff Shampoo & Conditioner, Aloe Vera 400 mL

I love Head and Shoulders shampoos. I have bought them for several years for my daughter, and as time has progressed I found I needed to use this too. Not so much for dandruff, more for buildup on my scalp from hair spray, etc.This was a new scent for me and I wasn't sure if I would love it. I opened the bottle, too a sniff and was wowed! And once my hair was dry I could smell that scent around me, like when I turned my head. Or lets be honest, I sniffed my hair a few times just because I loved the scent, lol. Big thumbs up on having such a nice smell without being overpowering.It lathered really during my shower, which probably shouldn't be a huge deal but to me that is personally pleasing. It felt thick, not at all watery, which made it feel like a luxurious product from the salon.100% satisfied and will be purchasing again!

I have very sensitive skin. I used H&S sensitive skin formula for a long time and had no problem. Then they quit making it. I didn't know this gentle scalp was the replacement of it, so I had to hunt for something else. I switched to Tee Tree Shampoo recommended by my beautician. I liked it, but the next thing I knew, my face was all swollen and covered with rashes. I guess the residue from the conditioner got to the bath towel and I dried my face with it. Later I found out this gentle scalp formula was indeed the sensitive skin formula replacement, so I got it and started using it this week. The swelling of my face is going down and I'm taking a breath now. Whew. What will I do without H&S gentle formula!~

I tried many shampoo after I can't find this at store retailer anymore. It's the only shampoo that really works on my hair. I'm gonna order it again.

Although I wasn't completely satisfied with this product because it wasn't what I expected, I'm giving it 5 stars because if I hadn't had extremely high expectations I would have been impressed. I love the normal Head and Shoulders 2-in-1 shampoo because it makes my hair feel cleaner than any other shampoo does. The aloe version is still good but it doesn't seem to make my hair quite as clean as the other one does. I think this version is meant to be gentler so that's probably why. Still works though, and it does do wonders for dandruff. Great product for a very low price.

I wanted to like this product unfortunately it has caused rashes on my skin including on my face and has dried my scalp. I was hoping that with a fragrance free product I would avoid issues like this. Ingredients include sodium laureth sulfate which is a known skin irritant. It is used to make the soap foam up but removes the skins natural oils. If you have sensitive skin like me I would recommend you stay away.However the shampoo does leave my hair feeling clean and the smell is just fine. If you don’t have sensitive skin and want to avoid fragrance this could be for you.After discontinuing use the rashes disappeared. When starting use again the rashes developed again. Attempted to use the soap for a few weeks to give my skin an opportunity to “get used to it” however the rashes just got more irritated.

My baby has a pretty intense case of cradle cap, we have been battling it other ways but nothing seems to be working. Our pediatrician recommended we get a dandruff shampoo for him, and my father uses this shampoo so we decided to try it. Although it says it's gentle and hypoallergenic it didn't bode well with my son. We tried it two times before we realized it was this shampoo that was causing him pain.As for adult use, my father uses this everyday, has sensitive skin, and no longer has any dandruff! The smell of this shampoo is nice and not overpowering. I would recommend this to adults but not to a child due to their skin being more sensitive.

Good shampoo for my husband who has allergies to shampoo. Only one we buy now. Would recommend.

I am allergic to fragrances and also smell sensitive due to migraines and this is the perfect solution for me! It doesn't have any strong perfume smells and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.
