Q: Because of the building, a lot of steel andI have extremely bad reception for fm radio. How good will this radio work? Thank you

We have difficulty with the short antennae pulling in our favorite public radio station. It is better as a CD player.

Q: Does it plug into the wall

Yes, it plugs into the wall, or works with 6 UM-2 ("C") batteries (batteries not included).

Q: How is the volume? We will use it for our daughter who has a brain injury and want to be able to turn the volume low.

The volume should be above average. Anyhow, you can use the accurate and wide-range volume control to set the volume at your favorite level, including very low level.

Q: Can it be played through PA system?

Hello- No, I do not see where it has hook up for a PA system. It is a small, self contained CD player that does not do much more than sit on the counter and play CD's and radio.
