Great, easy trick for beginning magicians
My grandson loves this, he has been tricking all of his friends and family except for his dad who had the same one when he was little.

Perfect For Your Beginning Magician!
If you've got a kid who's just getting interested in magic, but you're not sure they're going to stay with it, this might be a great option. It's fun, and it's easy to use. It isn't a high end gimmick, but for the price why would you think it was? It's exactly what you'd expect and it works well enough to see if your kidlet is really interested in this magic stuff. I'm not sorry I got it. It's a great value for practice and experimentation, probably not for professional performance.

No good
Cut way too low and in a way that is not believable. Harder to use and looks pretty terrible.

Its ok. There are better out there.
Plastic feeling, but it works.

Fun trick for non-magical beings like me
I am not a magician, I do not dabble in the black arts, but I have always enjoyed some of the gadgety tricks that don't require a lot of practice. This hinged coin is a super-easy trick that can be used for some close up magic in a lot of different ways, from the old bite-the-coin trick, put the coin in the narrow bottle trick, etc.The quality of the item seems great. The photos I included show that it looks pretty darn close to a real quarter. Obviously one can tell the difference if you look closely, but this isn't a trick where the observer handles the item, unless you palm the trick coin and hand them a real quarter to look at first. From any reasonable distance, one cannot tell that it is a trick coin. The weight is noticeably different, though more similar to modern quarters. One can see from the included photos that the thickness is nearly the same as a real quarter. The edge, if inspected closely, is an obvious give-away as that is where the rubber band goes to hold the two halves together.I like that both coins come with a handful of extra rubber bands if the original one wears down.Overall, great little quick magic trick, great quality item.

Fun Magic Coin Trick – Great for Wowing the Kids
This magic coin trick is a great little kit for wowing the kids. The coins look nice and create a convincing effect when performing the trick.-Looks good and creates a fun effect-Great for entertaining kids-Comes with spare parts-The rubber band on mine started to loosen, making the gap between pieces more visibleOverall, it’s a fun and simple trick that works well, but the rubber band may need replacing over time.
