Not for profound loss
I have worn aids for over 40 years, have worked closely to my fitters and learned a lot, especially what I needed and why, what I needed in an aid as well as what I didn't. I need new aids but just can't afford the $2000+ for what I need and want. I am almost deaf. My loss is due to trauma to the nerve bed so I will continue to loose hearing. I needed new ones, was upset when the local ppl wanted to again put me into the BTE full shells. I don't care for them. I really like this type that has the receiver down in your ear. I find that with this type of smaller tubing I have enough room on my ear for glasses, 02tubing and hearing aid plus good sounds inside my ear. This aid was recommended for severe hearing loss. I liked everything about the aid, the use, the view, the fit, the many different fittings, it just wasn't strong enough for my loss so I will have to try a different one. I have found the in ear receiver to be more comfortable than the heavier BTE, don't need to buy batteries and dispose of them, just pop the aid into it's holder and use it again in a short while or after a sleep. If these were stronger I would keep them.

Don't work for me
They're supposed to be for severe hearing loss I only see that they have three volume settings they're supposed to have five.

Good performance
These are very good hearing aids.I have several pairs of hearing aids including a very expensive one. I like these the best. They are very comfortable. I especially like the feedback suppression and the amplitude limiting of sudden very loud noises. I think the speaker in the ear that these have sounds a lot better than the ones using a hollow tube.I sent a message to the supplier asking a question but never received a return email. I bought the 2 year insurance which should be a help with that problem. So kudos for the performance but no kudos for support.

Save your money!
My husband ordered these and they barely work. Save your money. It made it worse, like wearing earplugs. DON'T BUY!
