ESR iPad Pro 11 Inch Case with Keyboard (M4, 2024), iPad Pro 11(5th Gen) Keyboard with Easy-Set Magnetic Stand, Portrait/Landscape Modes, Removable Protective Case, Rebound 360 Series, Blue

I just got the iPad M4 11 inch and I was looking for a nice keyboard case that I could detach the iPad from as needed. I liked the idea of the Apple Magic Keyboard but (1) I was NOT paying $350, that’s wild, (2) I didn’t like the fact that there wasn’t a case or some sort of shell for the iPad to be in when detached from the keyboard (for $350 you would think they’d give you something), and (3) there was no way to secure the Apple Pencil (it magnetizes to your iPad but I want to make sure it STAYS there, again for $350 you think there would be something).I looked into other options as well and found some cool options from Typecase which is apparently a pretty popular brand, they even had their own version of the Magic Keyboard at a lower price ($100ish) but it was the same thing with the same things missing.That’s where this beautiful keyboard comes in! I LOVE it! First of all the material is fabulous feels so high quality. It’s like a silicone based materiel that feels buttery smooth and soft. The keyboard is amazing as well and the backlighting is great! The case is a little weighty but it is NOT heavy!This case comes with a shell to go on your iPad that you can use on and off the keyboard. I also really appreciate the fact that the closure is made to further secure the Apple Pencil to the iPad when not in use (I don’t know about you but I’m not willing to lose $129 because I bumped the pencil off of my iPad)I know I could talk about connectivity to the iPad, smoothness of the trackpad, keyboard quality, etc as well but everyone else did a great job talking about all of those things with this great keyboard so I decided to hit why I like this better than that overpriced and under-protective Magic Keybord! 😂This is everything I wanted in a keyboard and I’m super happy with it! This is a fantastic case! It is easy to use and provides great all-around protection for the iPad. All of the corners of the iPad are well-covered and button access is fully enabled. The Bluetooth pairing is seamless and the trackpad works well.The placement of the iPad in either horizontal or vertical use is effective and easy with a magnetic attachment to the case. The stand is at a fixed angle but the angle works well.The only downsides of this case are:1) its weight (slightly heavier and thicker than the Apple Magic Keyboard, but 1/3 the price — and the ESR case provides much better iPad protection); and2) lack of a dedicated storage partition for the Apple Pencil (which is easily knocked off if not being used while the case is open.) This latter challenge is also present on the Apple Magic Keyboard, without a flap to hold the pencil in place while traveling.Overall, this product is a great value. It is a highly functional case, with the biggest problem being the Apple Pencil storage while the case is open. If you don't use the Apple Pencil regularly and do want a great keyboard case, this is one you should purchase.

The connectivity is extremely simple. The inner case fits alittle off but it still works. For the price point, this is extremely good for most. The only thing I dont like is how heavy it feels compared to others. The keyboard size takes some time to adjust because of sizing. Magnet strength is awesome. Putting the ipad vertically/horizontal with ease is a game changer. Touchpad is really responsive and nice. I use this as a backup for school and it was a no brainer for the pricepoint compared to others. I was able to buy the keyboard, pen and writing sheet for half the price of other competitors

Heavy duty construction. Adds considerable weight to the ipad. If you have a problem with weight, this is not for you.Pros: Solid construction, nice keyboard, works well. Has multi-colored lighting. Strong retaining magnet. A solid frame to fit the ipad in, even when not in use with keyboard. Vertical or horizontal viewing.Cons: There is one viewing angle. The plate on which the ipad rests is upto one position. Cannot go back further - IF someone likes to set the ipad at say 130 degree angle or more, you will not be able to do it. It is a fixed maximum viewing angle - does not go back further.

The white keyboard case for iPad Pro 11in M4The gesture on track pad is great. The keyboard is great too. Only thing is no palm rejection, but could be use by slightly positioning palm to the side and do not feel awkward.The aesthetics is a bit questionable.The sleep and wake button have a cut out of finger print sensor, but iPad doesn’t support it anyways, so just fill it.And the case that actually protects the iPad could just be white to follow the white aesthetic, but the side is semi transparent.Last this keyboard doesn’t actually tells you how much battery the keyboard has. I seen the battery indicator LED for other iPad model keyboard in the same company, so why doesn’t a Pro model support this feature?

When I first got the case I was very excited. The build quality is good. Feels sturdy. Love that you can use the ipad in landscape or portrait mode. Love the flap that secures the apple pencil. I have use the keyboard 3 times. It disconnected from Bluetooth. Tried to repair it it wouldn't connect. Forgot the device and tried again. Would not pair. Did a factory reset by holding C R L. The lights blinked 3 times confirming the reset. Would not pair. Tried resetting it again and now it won't even power on. For being over $100 I expect a lot more than this. I will have to suck it up and get the Apple magic keyboard instead. Disappointed because I love a lot of ESR products but this ain't it!
