Perfect replacement for Sears Craftsman 22" deck. bolt pattern matched perfect , the holes in the new engine block were not threaded so i just drove the original bolts in it with an impact gun, I bought a throttle control but really didnt need to use it , and it does have a blade brake that hooked up easy without any modding . it sits about 3/16" of an inch above the deck so there's a little air gap but it starts first pull and after a couple times mowing the grass that air gap will disappear. does not come with any oil , just a heads up, but i was up and running in less than an hour, even after i sharpened my blade.

Received with a cracked head, they refunded me but also stated that "if there's anything else they can go just let them know" I said I'd like a replacement engine or a discount on a bigger model since I lost out on about 3 days of my side job since the engine I received blew up after only a week.

Great running engine the engine is on a 6300 gallon tanker trailer we use it to pump out in to farmer’s tanker really like the power it has and I know Aceup stand by there product if it ever breaks down, they’ll get the parts to you fast that you need to keep your engine running great thank you Aceup

Instructions are worthless. It is set up to run at a constant speed. The governor feeds more fuel to the carb as load is increased. Need the brake to stop it unless more significant changes are made. Brake cable is not include. Once mounted and brake released it started with two pumps on the carb prime bulb on third pull. Works nicely mounted on an aircraft EZ 40 tow machine.

Replaced our old B&S on the pushmower.I added a good mulching blade and bladeholder.After adding oil and gas, 5-6 pumps on the primer and it started immediately.Much smoother and more quiet than the old one. Plenty of power!

This engine comes with instructions that are not for this model engine. And their tech support is of very little help. That being said I finally figured out how to get the engine running. Here is what you need to know before you purchase this engine. The engine is set to run at a constant rpm controlled by a governor with no easy provisions for connecting a throttle. The engine is equipped with a spring loaded kill switch which the manufacturer calls a brake. You will need to open this switch for the engine to run since it is spring loaded to the kill position. I was able to disconnect the governor and connect a throttle cable and a remote on/off switch but this requires substantial disassembly and modifications.

Cover the air cleaner box thoroughly with plastic, otherwise the crankcase will fill with water. It runs right down the post that holds the air cleaner box on. Other than that it runs ok.

Engine started 1st time. Developed a rattle. This disappeared for several days, then it refused to start. Attempted to return for exchange. Amazon says it's non refundable or exchangable! Total waste of money!
