Broke after just 9 Month
I got this Ice crusher around 9 Month ago. I used it around 2 days a week for an evening of cocktails. Mostly just for myself and sometimes with friends. So I might have turned it on maybe 5-10 times on those 2 days for around 10-15 seconds to crush some ice. I would not say that this is excessive usage for someone that is getting a rather expensive electrical ice crusher instead of a cheap manual one. I also used store bought ice cubes with the holes in the middle so they should not have been as hard to crush as ice cubes you would make yourself at home. From the sound of it the engine has an issue and can not get enough power anymore to crush the ice. I reached out to them to see If I can get a refund / repair. However, they came back saying they only offer it in the first 6 Month and I could send it to them in Germany on my dime and they would quote me what a repair would cost. Most companies use the 2 year legal warranty of the EU as a general warranty. However, it seems this company will ask you to proof that the issue was present when it was delivered, which most people should know is nearly impossible.An ice crusher that breaks after only 9 month is ridiculous, so I can not recommend anyone to buy this. In my opinion electronic products in general should last at least 2 years unless they are excessively used. I can also not recommend buying products from this company for the reasons mentioned above.For me, I will go to a local technical store to see if someone can fix the engine / get a new one fitted. If I am lucky they might even certify that a defect existed beforehand and I would then try to get my money back under the EU 2 year warranty.

Not fit for purpose
Do not buy this. It broke after only a few uses. It was basically unusable as it would jam every time. When it jams you can't use it and must wait for the ice to melt.I contacted the supplier (who were very rude) and they accused me of misuse when I did use it as per the instructions, and stopped when it jammed. It would have cost almost as much as a new one to repair (with the shipping) so now it sits collecting dust.I now use a £20 manual crusher so I can actually get some crushed ice.

Only brought at the start of Sept Broken already having to pay to send it back to Germany would not recomend it

IMPORTANT NOTICE : Maximum use 3 minutes Please don’t operate the machine into operation unattended : In case a large ice cube is stuck in the crusher, shut off the machine immediately, put the switch to (0) Because of stuck ice cubes, the motor and the gearbox can be jammed. In this case immediately disconnect the plug. Fill warm water into the ice cube chute and wait until the stucked ice cube is melted. Reconnect the plug and put the switch to (I). Now you can continue to crush ice. The device is not suitable for permanent commercial use. No ice cubes from the deep freezer (use -18 - -24 °)! Only ice cubes from the fridge or from an ice cube maker!
