Perfect for dryer. No issues.
Bought this so my daughter could use while in Europe for her Revlon brush-hairdryer-straightener thing, and it worked perfectly. No issues at all. Comes with different plug attachments and a velvety bag for storage.

Does what is needed while traveling
Purchased recently and used in Australia. Power Converter worked great. Was able to handle a flat iron but didn't need to try the blow dryer as one was available locally so can't verify if it works as advertised. Cord length was sufficient but could be longer, but then it would be heavier and take up more space. It did get warm but not hot if you leave it "turned on" for a prolonged time. Can't recall if this is in the description, but to use the USB power, the converter does not need to be turned on. Converter is quiet as no fan used for cooling. It comes with a variety of different plugs so it should work in most any country, but I'd verify you have the correct one before traveling. This converter was worth the price paid as it worked for us on our trip. I will purchase again if the need arises.

Useful adapter, there are some issues to note
**ProsIf you drop it it doesn't break. If it's carrying a load it has a fan.It will indeed run hair dryers and high power hair straightening accessories on the special outlet.USB charging ports are very handy.**ConsIf you're traveling in Europe you definitely need an extension cord, because there are no hair dryer outlets in bathrooms. The cord on this device is too short, it's made of a stiff plastic, the adapters are fiddly, and it easily slips out of the box while you're using it.While it is correctly labeled, the print is very small.Being short of other outlets, we plugged our laptop adapters into the 200 watt outlets. My Lenovo PC adapter worked fine in the 200w outlets, but my wife's MacBook adapter did not. So I had to go out and buy another basic adapter while on the trip. The USB ports do not offer quick charging.**RecommendationsI think this is worth having, it does what it says and the full size outlets are nice.- Get yourself a regular multi-country adapter, and a decent desktop PC / monitor cord to replace the cord and adapters that came with the unit. You are very likely going to find that you can't get your hair dryer anywhere near a mirror and some hotels, and a 68" cord helps a lot.- Make certain that you're not bringing an electronically-controlled hair accessory with you as the warnings are correct. We had two devices without electronics, but my wife had one hair iron that had a digital display and it stopped working after being plugged in. That's our fault, I'm just giving you a warning.- If you're going to have more than a couple of items to plug in, you're still going to want another multi-country adapter. The ones with all the levers look pretty silly, but they are easy to pack.

Fried the hair dryer, didn't work with the laptop
It didn't work with my laptop charger (the charger wattage was under what the outlet supported, so I don't know why it didn't work), had to buy a plug adapter (luckily the charger was dual voltage). Additionally, the hair dryer outlet fried the hair dryer. Then, in the middle of the night, my wife accidentally plugged an electric toothbrush into the dryer outlet and that was fried. The USB ports aren't as useful as I thought since USB plugs and voltage are international (the hotel had the outlets in the room). 1-star for not working with the charger, frying the hair dryer (it was a mechanical dryer), and poor design (a destroy electronic) outlet next to a normal outlet.

Worked extremely well while in Scotland.
My wife and I took a trip to Scotland and knew we would need a unit that would allow us to keep our electronics charged. The adapter for the United Kingdom worked as advertised and quite well actually. This unit offers a lot of different plugin/USB ports options for various electronics plugged in all at the same time. Worked very well and didn’t get hot or overheat.I was a little worried about selecting the right setup for travel overseas. There are a lot to choose from. This particular model was designed well and came with a nice bag to keep it in that I was able to keep inside my carry-on bag. The size is perfect! All in all I am very pleased with our choice. Now we need to plan another trip lol.

Doesn’t work with Dyson hairdryers or air wraps
This was advertised as working on hairdryers in Europe. It doesn’t work with Dyson, so beware. It is also very heavy.

Needed for sure
Worked great in South Africa. Make sure you take all the different attachments with you because the surrounding countries near South Africa.
