Most Reliable when you need to copy terrabytes of data to it right away!
Awesome Helium Sealed Drive as usual - these kinds of drives last better when copying Terrabytes of data from on hard disk to this. (especially with millions of small files where the hard disk is fragmented a lot.) For years now I prefer Western Digital DC Helium Sealed hard disks to Seagate and others hard disk manufacturers. They may be fine now, but I dont want to take a chance on blowing out a hard drive where I need to copy off of an older filled or mostly filled hard disk that is not big enough or may have errors to a new hard disk only to have it go bad! Western Digital in my opinion is the best for 3.5" hard disks.

Great Refurbished Drive
Great refurbished drive for the price. I docked one star because there is no option to do half based on the warranty is pretty short, 2 years, compared to 5 year warranties most refurbished enterprise drives will give. Drive passed all the checks and precleared just fine.

Ordered Feb 2025 from goharddrive seller, received drives that were manufactured in Oct 2024. 0 power on hours, no SMART issues, badblocks ran with no errors. For all intents and purposes, drives appear brand new and never used!

Suspect Drive with issues. Might want to look elsewhere
As someone with 34 years in IT, I might look elsewhere for another drive. This is the first Western Digital drive I have bought in a few years, and I am not impressed. It is very noisy and seems sluggish. The drive passes SMART tests but seems off. I have backed up my laptop to it, and it takes two days, versus my usual back drive that takes around 12 hours. I am not dinging the seller per say, but might stay aware of used Western Digital.
