Having had a garden sprinkler splash the body of my car, I was left with what appeared to be immovable salt marks across the bonnet. Having had the GtechniQ applied to my vehicle at the time I purchased it, I researched their products and found this product, which I purchased and applied. I found it to be an excellent product which removed the salt marks and restored the GtechniQ shine to my vehicles paintwork.

I've used a lot of different snow foams over the years, and this is one of the fairly good ones.I only say "fairly good", because to be honest, I've never found one which particularly astounding. Most don't produce a really thick, clinging foam without using a fair bit more than the advised amount.This Gtechniq W4 is a bit thicker, so likely a bit more concentrated than others, so you do need to use less than other brands, but it does cost a bit more (1l of this might be 2.5l of another brand, but you'll use 2.5+ times as much with some other brands).Gtechniq W4 does a good job of softening baked on insects, mud, grime and bird muck - which is basically what it is for. It isn't a contactless wash, meaning you will still need to do a regular contact wash afterwards (e.g. buckets and a wash mitt), but it does make it that much easier and quicker.The other plus is that it smells pretty nice too!

This snow foam does not produce the most luxurious foam, but it does possess a very powerful degreasing agent which most snowfoams don’t. It does produce a deep clean on the car without stripping any coatings, so I'm not intending to use it for every wash but instead will use it 2 or maybe 3 times during the year, such as after the winter months, to get rid of any collected grime, salt etc . Nothing to say you couldn’t use it for every wash but for most maintenance washes I’ll stick to my Bilt Hamber Autofoam. It does provide something “ extra” and it’s very good at what it does.

Does what all snow foam does but as it’s concentrate, takes up much less space than the gallon tanks I was buying before. All gteqnic stuff is superb.

Great product

I have used this a few times now putting in 100ml per 1l of water and used both through a foam lance and Ik foam sprayer. I pre rinse car first. It creates a good foam that stays well on the car. I leave to dwell for around 8 mins but have to ensure it doesn't dry on any panels. It rinses off well with pressure washer. The results though are not as good as I had hoped it does not take enough grime and dirt off to be up there as one of the best snowfoams for a pre wash. The citrus does not give it any great cleaning power so I wouldn't buy this again.

Bought this as i had had my car ceramic coated and needed a non contact wash regime for it to keep the coating in good condition, as with any coating, the less physical contact the better.One thing to note, use as per the bottle, if you mix it neat into the lance bottle, then it will not work properly, get the mix correct and this stuff comes out like shaving foam and sticks to the car very well, takes a good 10 mins and it is still on the car, and after washing, there are still lumps of foam on the driveway.Far more gentle than a TFR, all it does is soak into and slightly loosen the dirt, but with a coated car you do not want anything harsh, this followed by a 2 bucket wash method works very well.
