Interesting twist on Monopoly
I like that this version of Monopoly is more than just a different themed version. Each player is given a character card which gives them a special ability they use throughout the game, for example, one of the characters lets you move to different portals so they can avoid certain parts of the board or get a head start on some other properties. Another character lets the player choose between two of the cards that replace the community deck - so they have more options to choose from.I like the new community chest cards which can have challenges or something to help you on the die rolls. The movement is still the same - a die roll determines how far your character goes. However, when you land on a property, you MUST pay a fee. Each property features a scenario and at the end, the player must decide if they want to pay outright for a property or if they want to roll. A good roll lets the player keep the property and have an additional benefit. A bad roll means some negative consequence will happen to the player and they do not get the property. If the property is not claimed, the next players do not have to pay the initial fee. There aren't any houses or hotels or anything similar in this game (there is still "rent"). The game ends when all properties have been acquired.I like that this version of the game is shorter, the box is smaller, and the player powers. I like the challenges and saving up cards to help mitigate bad luck. The downside of the game is that once you've heard the scenario, it isn't really interesting anymore. Although, the scenarios match up with scenes from the movie, so movie fans will want this version.I also thought that the "game master" advanced variant would be more interesting, but it isn't. We just added the cards from this variant into the deck and we did swap out some locations but it wasn't really worth it. I think that there could be MORE done with this theme and game and I wish there was more development on the game.If you enjoy Monopoly, the movie or theme, or maybe you don't like Monopoly because it takes too long, I recommend checking out this Dunegones and Dragons-themed board game. It's shorter, has similar feels, and introduces new concepts and game mechanics.

Good game, but also in French?
I got this for my Dad for Christmas. It is a fun twist on Monopoly. The family's favorite change is how the game is over after all the "properties" have been claimed. It makes the game a lot shorter. Only weird thing, for some reason I received a game that is in English and French. 2 sets of directions, game board in both languages, 2 sets of cards, very weird. But still, it was a nice addition to family game night.

Fun twist on the original
Fun game! I love the spin on the original game. It's the same game pace and sboard size as the regular game, as well as difficultly. The age range seems to be aimed at a higher age of maybe 15+.

Another D&D monopoly
This is another version of D&D monopoly except itβs based off the movie. My only complaint is the quality of cardboard used for the box. If like me you own a ton of games you might want to make sure you put a very light weight game on top of it or the lid will sink/deform due to the cheap material.

Most epic Monopoly you'll find!
I have always disliked Monopoly because you work to bleed your friends to death at a slow pace. This game changes everything! You work as a team. Once the properties are 'explored' the game ends, so it's not as slow as traditional Monopoly. There are extra little perks depending on who you play (example, the main gets out of jail free, every time). If you visit jail you bust any friends out instantly. The deck you draw from contains items as well as monsters! You can't die. You just get knocked out until the next turn when you awaken and continue on your way.And don't worry, for all those competitors out there, there is still a clear winner, which is whoever has the most gold at game's end. This game is perfect for anyone who dislikes traditional Monopoly for the same reasons I do.
