Great Game!!!!!!!!
What can I say, had game 3 hours and had 3 solo games, (get the app for the solo game,) the game is brilliant, well balanced and no two games will be the same, why?, well with 100 dungeon cards that are very themeatic and with monsters, equipment, companions, dragon attacks, treasure of all shapes and sizes and three wise monkeys would you believe, it is a great game, nearly died but just made it out in time so I got all my points for treasure. The board is double sided, one easy, one not so easy. The trouble is you not only have to get to the treasure but you have got to get out alive, but with the best treasure being deep in the dungeon it can be very tricky to get out again in time ahead of your other dungeon buddies that will start the end game were the dragon attacks on every turn. In summery, a very easy game to learn, very good quality pieces and great game play, you can't go wrong !!

Awesome game - great for board gaming beginners
Rules are explained very well so it is quick and easy to start a game. Figures and pieces are very well made. The game board is pretty and it is integrated in the game play very well. The game play is meant to be competitive as you rush to find treasure before others and get out of the dungeon alive, but you can also play cooperative until you get what you want and then rush out before anyone else. The game uses a great balance between strategic card play and randomness, where you collect and build your deck of cards that suit your play style, but the element of unforeseen events in the dungeon always keeps you on your toes. Great fun for anyone with imagination.

CLANK!? Definitely no ratchet ;)
Clank! is a fun dungeon delving deck builder, that quickly develops as the game progresses.Your goal is to grab an artifact from the dungeon and return to the surface as quickly as possible, that's a lot easier than it sounds!I really enjoyed playing this game, took me a little while to setup because that's an important part of the game itself but the flow of the game is great. As you progress in your adventure your starting deck will grow, and it will grow fast! Why is it called CLANK!? One of the features of the game is called clank! This feature is a negative effect, you disturb the dragon, who isn't pleased to see you, that can damage you and eventually could kill your adventurer. The components are decent and functional, the cube (clank!) bag is a really cool, yet simple, idea. Throw in the deck building and victory point conditions will give you a tense, but very entertaining, experience.Once you've figured it all out, this'll likely become one of the favourites for game nights.

Brilliant Game - Easy to learn, but enough twists and turns to keep it enjoyable many times over.
This is a fantastic game, we have a few ganes in our house that we love to play: 7 wonders, Duel, Ticket to Ride, and this has very quickly become a firm favourite. Being able to play the board game as a one player using the app to tell you the consequences of the other players moves is fantastic and a brilliant variation. Had seen that this was very popular this year on boardgamegeek, and i can see why! Played 6 times in the first weekend of having it. Easy enough for a family game too, watched the video tutorial to get the rules the first time, but once you have played, it's so enjoyable and so easy to explain to new players. A great addition to our collection!

but everyone has had so much fun playing it I have to give it a recommendation
Lots of theme, plenty of scope for silliness. Lightweight, not particularly competitive. It's a bit drab and I wasn't that keen on it at first when I was learning the rules, but everyone has had so much fun playing it I have to give it a recommendation.I can't imagine it will keep it's sparkle if overplayed though.

A wonderful deck-building board game for 2-4 players. Competetive and fun!
Clank is an absolutely wonderful game for 2-4 players. To keep this review brief;Setup - initial setup and restarting takes about 5 minutes. A little time consuming but not bothersome.Players - Can work well with 2, though the end-game situations can cause some lackluster victories. With more players, the game explodes with entertainment. It may be possible to play with more players, but you would need additional cards and clank-cubes.Game Length - anywhere between 20 minutes to 1.5 hrs from experience. Depends on experience of players and how dangerous the plays become. Some players are sly and quick, others are calculating and risky.Scoring - I would recommend having a phone/calculator or pen+paper handy just to make scoring easier, but ultimately it mostly just comes to counting tokens and values on cards.Overall, a wonderful game with many hours of fun and competition. I would also recommend the expansion, though don't feel the need to get both at the same time. This base game will last you many games.

A deck-building dungeon crawler board game
Clank! is such a fun game to play. It’s easy to pick up and get into. Each game tends to start slow as players buy cards each turn to build their decks, but each game I’ve played has steadily picked up the pace and turned into a tense race to the finish line each time. I love that you can flip the board for a slightly different/harder game, and with the free Renegade Games companion app you can add an element of randomness and unpredictability to proceedings. Looking forward to getting the expansions and the in space sequel!
