works well over all
It cooks ribs and pork chops perfectly and fast, I enjoyed cooking popcorn shrimp quickly as well as pot stickers after one coats them light with oil so it won't stick, the surface peels very easily after a few uses but the unit is still functional, however the spring mechanism that locks and releases the basket from outer shell just rusted and fell apart creating a risk of injury with the hot surface of the basket after 7 and a half months will try to find the company info to see if i can get another spring

Build quality needs improvement
Worked very well for about a year until the handle broke off and the basket got stuck in the appliance.

Easy to use and works great
I'm not why other reviews don't give this a higher rating. This is simple to use and makes frying a lot easier. From my experience Aicok has excellent customer service and will go above and beyond. If you have a problem with this item, contact them and they will take care of you.

Needs a tray
This is a replacement for a oil big daddy type fryer. It has only a basket to do the cooking and it needs a tray so one can air fry fish and other items. Wasn't versatile enough for me and wasn't large enough capacity. I'l research better and order a more versatile unit. The control pad on top was very functional and easy to use and that was a plus.

There Are Better On
Always needed a two-step process: first, air fryer then second, the oven to crisp. Too cumbersome.

Falling apart
Barely used and two screws fell out of the inside ceiling of the device.
