I have been meaning to get into a gut/muscle supplement, that can balance out some of those enzymes and other digestive things going one.I ordered this glutamine powder; after reading about this kind of supplement possibly helping my body process the quick meal i take not long before working out.I have a strict athletic schedule, that i am happy to say i have been consistent with for ten years. A big part of this schedule is keeping the proper nutrients and meals in circulation. I therefore need a minimal amount of fuel when i wake up, to then get into a sixty minute cardio thing then a fifteen to twenty minute weights session. I am in my forties; so doing that six days a week can be hard on the body. I was thinking a glutamine supplement would help with the muscle recovery with my feet and leg muscles being a main focus due to the constant jogging. One of the other reason for my interest in this supplement is because i like to blend a whole avocado as my prelockout fuel. This has been my method for a long time, but there is a lot of good fat in a whole avocado that can be difficult breaking down with vigorous activity. I should rephrase that because it actually helps your digestive system when engaging in physical activity. I mean the process of quick digestive processes, compounded with athletics can have unpredictable side effects.I have been using this Pro Mix formula powder for two days now, and have already noticed a better digestion of my pre workout avocado in a blender drink.This is the no flavor type, but there is still an unpleasant minerally thing going on. The comical thing is there is definitely a taste; just not flavor that can be associated with a pleasant effect on the taste buds. I am not complaining about it, because if your just slam it quick, there is no lingering taste like there would be from a vitamin /protein variation.To conclude i think the price of this is right and the health stats are good for my diet plan. I recommend this athletic supplement.

This is the first time I've tried taking L-Glutamine. I've been on a diet for about 10 months now and lost quite a bit of weight, but I've been experiencing some issues with my digestion. I've been taking it about twice daily now for about 3 weeks and it does seem to help alleviate a lot of my problems. It's also supposed to aid your immune system which makes me feel good about taking it every day. It's simple to use - just 1 very small scoop mixed in a cup of water. I give it a quick stir and it dissolves easily. It does have a little bit of a taste to it, but it's not bad at all and goes down easy.On the days I work out, I take an extra dose right after I finish. I'm not certain if it's helping with muscle recovery, but it's easy enough to take and it certainly doesn't hurt. I certainly feel less leg pain than I used to, but that may be because I'm finally building up my muscles after years of very little exercise.The product page states there is no artificial anything - just free-form micronized L-Glutamine. It also says 94% of their products are sourced in North America which I like. This 2 pound bag will last me quite a long time so I feel like it's a pretty good deal and I can recommend it to anyone trying to get healthy. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again when I run out.

Started taking this because I have sibo and gut issues. It has caused me to have severe Night terrors. Wish I could return for a refund 😕

The package arrived and it is in a bag which is a little oversized for the product but its not a game changer at all. I did transfer it to a different container that I had so I am happy it didn't waste plastic for packaging. This package is 180 servingsThe powder dissolves easily , I mix with apple juice , and it did not alter the taste or leave any type of gritty feel like other products I have tried. It is not recommended to take with a meal so I do take separately. The Promix naturally supports gut health and aids in reducing muscle breakdown. Being that this product is pure L-Glutamine, it is comparable to other brands sold at nutrition stores for a very fair price.
