Much better than foam! You can totally sleep with it. (7mo. update)
The noise cancellation is fantastic! It does not feel bad at all when sleeping on the side.Tips:The gel extends overnight inside the ear-canal - meaning you do NOT need to jam it all the way from the get-go. Get it in deep just enough and let it be.The first couple of uses a new puck will feel sticky. In the morning do not try to yank it out. Tease it out instead. The previous brand I used the material contracted by itself during the day - meaning, there was no need to mash it like playdough. This one is different and does require manual restoration of the shape (after washing and drying, obviously).Wash with a little soap in the morning and put in a clean wented place so it stays clean and dry for the next use. Placing them wet in the closed box is a bad idea.Reuse: The previous brand where the material would self-retract during the day a pair would last me a few weeks of nightly use. Then they stop retracting their shape during the day and I prefer to replace them at this point. For this brand - too recent to tell. Will post an update in a few weeks. In all - for me - way more functional and sanitary than foamOK - update - 7 months use.Extremely happy. Will not switch to another brand. What prompted me to write this.Another reviewer wrote that this material disintegrates in your ear and that he/she needed to go to a doctor for a procedure to remove the pieced. ... well that is ALL ON YOU :)So, here is what is happening:In the morning these plugs will be covered with natural oils coming from your skin. This is good. Means you are healthy and alive :)So what happens next - of course you do NOT wash the plugs! Early morning, sleepy ... we all get it.Well ... what happens next - evening comes and you reach for the plugs. They are still with the shape of your ear-canal ... nothing to it ... lets mash that thing and form another plug.Well ... what happens next - all these oils are mashed together with the silicone and they prevent the mixing of the material. What happens next - you do this a couple of evenings and these oily layers are now very fine and all over the volume ... thus causing delamination of fine pieces. What happens next - you get a piece delaminate completely and stay in your ear. What happens next - NO you do not need a doctor as a simple flush will take it out. But then again ... what do I know ... you are special, so you need a neurosurgeon to remove it ... then you warn everybody ... stay AWAY ... so, there's that ... In my personal opinion, which could be wrong as I am not a neurosurgeon.Net/Net: Can this be fixed? NO! Oil is oil. And it does not have to be fixed. So ... don't be lazy, wash them with some soap - it takes 5-6 seconds moving them in your sleepy hand, then place them in some not-dusty place and let them stay there. Then in the evening do not mash into a ball again ... just restore a bit the cone and plug it back in.You absolutely do not need to jam it all the way. Halfway is plenty.Hey ... I am no doctor no specialist in ear-plugs ... this all is one man's opinion. This being Amazon and all - you are on your own :)

Work amazing!!b
As someone who wears earplugs every night and has been through many different kinds, I was shocked I haven’t tried these sooner! They are so good at covering sound but stay in your ears so well all night. With others I have to take them out and put them in again multiple times a night. These stay put and block out all sounds. Highly recommend

Good Sleeper earplugs
Reliable, reusable. Keeps most normal noises out or down while you sleep. My one complaint is that they have a tendency to get my hair caught in them or leave a bit of residue on my pillow. The orange ones in particular.Over all great little earplugs

Can be adapted to the shape of your ear
I moved to an industrial area where the business is open even at night. I often can't sleep because of the noise of trucks and other things coming from them, so I decided to find the best earplugs on the market. I tried about 10 different earplugs and these are by far the best. The reason is that they are made of a clay-like material, so they can be molded to fit the shape of your ear, which means they can block out outside noise very well. Thanks to this, I can now sleep much better at night. These can also be reused many times which is very economical. When I use them too long (3 months or so) they can get difficult to mold them in the shape I like (loose stickiness), so changing every one or two months is probably a good idea. The reason I'm giving it four stars is that I've bought these about three or four times so far and one package had really soft earplugs which were easy to mold but VERY difficult to remove. Since this issue only occurred with one pack, I am guessing that it was probably an isolated issue. I haven't had any problems with the other sets I bought, so I think it'll probably be fine from now on. Other than that, this is a great product and lifesaver for me.

OK earplugs
My normal brand was out of stock, so I ordered these. They do not seem as of high a quality.. a little less tacky to stay in my ears, and they seemed a little... al.ost dusty? They work fine, but I will probably go back to my normal brand. For anyone considering earplugs- I highly recommend the silicone ones over foam, especially for long wear. They are so much more comfortable and my ear canals do not feel irritated at all.

Peace & quiet!
Best moldable ear plugs for me. After trying every ear plug in various materials I settled on these silicone plugs. I have a smaller than average ear canal, so most ear plugs are too big. These are my Goldilocks pair @ a great subscribe & save price.

Do not get the orange ones
The blue ones are great, but do not get the orange pack! For whatever reason the orange ones do not work at all

First they were soft and I liked them and the next batch was too hard to use.
From reading the one star reviews I assume that The producer of these ear plugs have had consistency issues with their product. Clearly some people like soft ear plugs, and other people like hard ones. My wife likes them hard and apparently they stick better to her ears. The hard ones don't stick to my ears and fail to form a good seal. When I first got them they were very soft and moldable, I could use one set for over a week, every night. So I decided to buy a couple boxes. But now the new boxes are a completely different product. They are hard and I only get two uses out of a pair.Upon looking at other producers of silicon ear plugs I find that some of them actually label them as soft so I am exploring new options.Upon contact with the manufacturer in trying to strike up a dialogue, they didn't really seem interested in conversing with me about the situation or making it right. I suppose I could just return them and may still. But the confusing response from them was to hear them say "The product may be due to the weather."
