It's the myth that just won't die. People to this day confuse baking soda with baking powder and the presence of aluminum. Baking soda has never had aluminum. Never has, never will.

Thank you for your question. We do not recommend using the 12 lb package of ARM & HAMMER™ Pure Baking Soda for baking as the material does not have the optimal particle size distribution for baking. If used for baking, less than optimal performance may be experienced. While we do not recommend using it, there is no health concern. Double check your selection box. You can order this either way. I selected and received one twelve pound bag. If this option is not available in the selection box, I would assume the large bag is not available at this time. As an FYI....the individual boxes are easier to store.
