I bought these for hurricane supplies. I like them because they were Paleo and have no sugar, but they were so spicy. I cannot eat them. However, lots of people in my family eat beef jerky so they will not go to waste.

I always judge sticks against Slim Jims, which I consider buffalo snot. These are somewhat dry but I prefer that to the squish of grease when I bite down. The jalapeño flavor is there, just not overwhelming, and the calorie count is reasonable, which make these good snack fillers. If you want hot, try Mahogany Meats habanero beef brisket jerky. I ended up with burned lips from eating it and I believe I could see my esophagus glow in the dark! I met my match there.

Buyers beware! Be VERY cautious when ordering this product. Order was delivered in early April, but still had about 1/2 the supply left in cool, dark storage (not in a hot car or anything crazy). The expiration date isn't until February 2026. Moldy and discolored --- clearly not edible.
