I needed the second edition for studies, but couldnt get it. Found this book to be easy to navigate to find the same philosophers and quotes. Excellent

Covers ancient and modern thought on some fundamental philosophical issues - Ethics, Morality, Human life, Beauty and Art and so on, with original writings, a clear and concise summary of their meaning, and questions to encourage further study. An excellent introduction to the subject.

It is so sad to pay full price for a damaged book which is an excellant book otherwise.
