Q: How to intallation rock it under spa cover lift on a full tub?

The plate that goes underneath is really thin and only about 3"long, so you just have to get something under a little. I got a little screwdriver under mine, then a bigger screwdriver, and finally a little pry bar, which was enough to squeeze it in there. This was on an 8' tub with 600 gallons in it.

Q: How much of the cover sticks up above the top of the spa?

When the cover is in the open position, it sticks up about a foot - foot and a half above the spa. When I am in the water, I can't see anything on that side of the tub.

Q: Is there anything that screws onto the tub itself?

No, nothing attaches to the tub. The Rockit bottom piece goes under the tub and held in place with the tub and the water.

Q: I have about a 2" lip, including the shell under my full tub. Dont really want to drain it this time of year Will I be able to install this by myself?

The spa will need to be drained but besides that yes you can install the cover rock it. “Hot Tub Charlie”
