Dixie Ems Sprague-Rappaport Type Two Tube Stethoscope – Burgundy

I can hear heart and lungs sounds perfectly, the sound quality is remarkable and the two tubes hitting each other isn’t as annoying as I thought it would be, especially in a calm environment.

Feels really good and looks great.

Great for student however is a little hard to wear but still cuteIs very good for students and I wish I Amazon can read my comment and give me a blood pressure Monitor cause I’m poor but this is 10/10. It make the job.

Nice product. I bought this stethoscope because I needed better "ears" than my medical assisting class offered. I received the stethoscope four whole days before they anticipated I would receive it. The only issue I have with it is that there is no direction/instruction manual for all the additional pieces and I can be pretty blonde. Other than that, I can hear heartbeat, gastric noises, and my brachial pulse (even without the sphygomanometer). Seems to be a great product and if for some reason I end up not liking it I will definitely update my review.P.S. For anyone who likes the orange... I think it is more vibrant in person and really adds character to the scope.

At last, a stethoscope which does not "walk"! I have spent over $1000 during my career on stethoscopes which were "state-of-the-art", sensitive and name-brand (HP, Littman, Tycos, WA). Alas they all developed legs and disappeared. Now I have a few of these and they NEVER walk away. They are good enough vs the "best" to help me as a high risk OB/Gyn Dr. - I hear "rales" when pulmonary edema is developing and wheezes with obstructive airway disease and combinations of sounds with pneumonia as well as my internist friends. It is not as good with subtle heart murmurs as the "best" but all my patients have these so that is actually a benefit. Lightly with the bell it lets me hear the diastolic rumble of mitral stenosis - a dangerous condition in pregnancy - as well as the "best". The Littman cardiac is the best value of the high-end stethoscopes. These are not as good, but definitely much much better than the cheap - in quality as well as price - ones in the same price range.

I purchased this stethoscope to supplement my Littmann Cardiology 3. Compared to the $140 Littmann this stethoscope is almost as clear and audible on auscultation. The Littmann is a little more sensitive and clearer but the difference in performance is not reflected in the price. I didn't know this was a kit and that it came with a BP cuff as well, which was a pleasant surprise and added even more value. For the price it's an unbeatable value and definitely a 5/5 all things considered. I am very happy with this purchase.

My scope arrived broken. The drum was off and the tubing had broken off from the scope. At first I was going to just order a replacement but I realized that the way it broke apart seemed like a flaw that would probably happen again even if it arrived intact. Also other reviews further convinced me of this In addition the color does not match the picture the lavender is not a hot pink like color but more of a pastel purple. The color actually matches the name just not the representation in the picture. Overall I just would not purchase again.
