Everything that I hoped it would be
I wanted a solid laptop to use for novel writing. That meant I needed a screen with enough size and resolution to be able to read an outline in a window on the left-hand side, and the current draft of the novel in a Word document on the right hand side of the display. This laptop has that, and with a nice clear, easy to read screen. I also needed a comfortable backlit keyboard so that I could write the book smoothly even in a low light environment, which is the case with this device. It has more than enough speed for my non-writing tasks, too. I'd like to have seen a larger SSD, but 512GB is enough for now. By the time I fill it, I'll probably be ready for a new one anyway. The touch screen is responsive and smooth. It upgraded easily to Windows 11 and runs it quite well. It's a sturdy metal chassis and case. Charges fast and easy. It's relatively light and thin, making it easy to travel with. I love the color and design of it. The touchpad works well,too. For the price, it was a perfect choice.
