Not enough dry, ice cream melted

We bought the larger container. It arrived totally melted. The ice pack that came with it wasn't even cold.

pumped full of air
Breyers pumps all their ice cream with air. Look at the serving size (2/3 cup) and then look at the number in parentheses after the serving size. The lower the number, the less the serving weighs and the more air is in it. Ben and Jerry and other premium ice creams will typically have a number between 100 and 140. Breyers has numbers between74 and 88. So you are paying for air. If you have any doubt, try repacking a container of Breyers into a pint container, packing it down as hard as you can. You will have about a half a pint. Try packing Ben and Jerry's down hard, and you can't. It's airless and dense and heavy, the way it should be!
