Does the JOB at a super cheap price!
Just used this product over the weekend at what I thought would be a pathetic substitute for my external mic/windscreen I usually use for my Go Pro. I was AMAZED at how well it performed. I was in VERY high winds and although you could hear minor "puffage" from the wind you can still VERY clearly hear all voice. None of it was drowned out AT ALL by the wind. Not even for a few seconds! Very impressed with this product. My external mic still gives me slightly clearer voice but its windscreen does no better in my opinion than this little gem! And........it fits over the Go Pro housing after you place the camera inside! Buy now!

It does the job
I use my GoPro on my motorcycle helmet and have had to suffer with the wind noise in all my video. On a whim I tried this and am blown away by how well it works. Virtually zero wind noise now. AMAZING. Highly recommend.

Works pretty well
The media could not be loaded. Works well! Cuts down on wind noise, my only issue is the extra size it adds, looks kinda goofy. But function over form!

Little to No Wind Noise!!!
Hit the tail of the dragon and got up to at most 65mph. Almost no wind noise on my gopro hero 7. It was in a suction mount and and the wind sock fit over the plastic case that the gopro goes into. Pic attached. Very pleased. If I buy another gopro I will buy another one of these.

It does reduce wind peaks
The media could not be loaded. This is a pain to work with, unless you remove the door to the USB slot and manually cut a hole in the foam. I'm not sure why they didn't already include the hole. They added one for the on/off and start buttons. If you don't take those steps, you are going to spend several minutes each day just removing the foam to recharge your camera. That will eventually take it's toll on the foam. If you do take those steps, then you can keep the foam on constantly and leave your camera attached to your support device. It does work. It will clip the "peak noise" of the wind, but can't remove the sound of wind itself. It acts like a high pass filter and saves me time in post-production sound filtering for nature videos.I gave it three stars primarily for not thinking ahead and adding the USB hole and the user experience.I read the negative comments and was concerned about the "it doesn't work" and "it doesn't fit" comments. I think they are both related to users who aren't using the camera enclosure with the foam. If you put just the camera in the foam, it doesn't fit at all and it will move around probably making more noise due to the foam rubbing against the mic. Having it in the enclosure fills the foam and actually fits tight. One other thing is that, if you use the top/start button to stop your videos, you're going to get a nice loud crackle of noise as your finger slides against the foam to get to the button. Because the mic is right next to that button, I doubt there is any way to mitigate this.

One huge caveat
It’s durable. It blocks a lot of wind noise up to a certain point. If the wind is blowing, noise blockage is at its best. If you are also moving fast, the the wind is that much stronger and you will hear it against the mics. The one huge caveat is this: you have 20 minutes, tops, before your GoPro shuts down due to overheating.Depending on your shooting conditions and needs, this might be perfect for you. Or not.
