The esd protection is probably good, but the edges of the mat don’t relax and lay down, even after a few months. I regret not paying a little more and getting one that lays flat.

Item smells even after a week of sitting

The smell is very strong and even after a month I need an exhaust fan running to be comfortable in the room. (The exhaust fan has been running every day of that month.)To be sure the smell now is better than it was the first week but not good enough. I will have to replace these.The mat itself is fine and cuts well but I would not use this in any room that needs to be occupied by actual people.

So upon opening the box and unrolling this, about 7 feet into the roll...there's a burn hole 😒

One roll of this mat took care of 2 work stations and that was all we needed. Its grip is fantastic. Not a single thing moves it or moves on it. If I ever need another, I know I'll be ordering another of these. :)
